Hubert Rollins Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 Very nice. Wish I had some of my old builds.
camaro73 Posted April 13, 2016 Author Posted April 13, 2016 Thanks guys! I wish I had some of my old builds too Hubert. Especially some of the old kits I use to have.
MrBuick Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Wow, really nice. That's held up well...may I ask, how do you store/display this that aids it in staying so sharp (that could probably be a whole topic!)?
camaro73 Posted April 13, 2016 Author Posted April 13, 2016 Thanks MrBuick. I kept it in an old 1/24 scale display case most of its life. It spent many years moving from closet to closet. Some times I would have it out when I had my own apt. But Now that I have a house, I bought a new case for it and now it is on display. I have noticed that the paint has some discolored areas on it. But it has held up pretty good for its age.
AC Norton Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 .........and those twenty years make that build even sweeter than the day you completed it. I can hear the bone shaking rap of those glass packs, and see that car leave the tree...I love it.............the Ace.........
olschoolkid Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 Really nice Bel Air. Makes me want to find a 62 Chevy and make a pass down the strip.
Davewilly Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 Pretty cool! nice race on sunday...get groceries on monday look!
