OlSchoolRedo Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 This truck and trailer combo was completed about 16 years ago. The truck was built pretty much stock with the exception of shortening the side skirts, adding front bumper driving lights and rear sleeper window, and some engine detailing that includes heater hoses, a/c lines, fuel lines, hydraulic steering pump, and power steering lines. The Italeri 48' trailer has its problems right out of the box, including but not limited to the incorrect scale height. The landing gear was moved forward to better depict U.S. spec trailer, a Reyco air ride suspension was built from scratch, a reefer unit fuel tank was added, along with a correct spec d.o.t. bumper. Thanks for looking!
towman1271 Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Love the simple details you did.. Looks amazing
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 This may be the best looking 377 that I've seen! Excellent Work!!
Superpeterbilt Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Outstanding build. This one looks great. We used to have a 93' 377 with a 3406. That truck was a beast. You have done a great job with all of the extra added details. It really takes it to the next level.
gatorincebu Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Now that is a real sharp ,clean looking rig ! You did a great job on it. Be Well Gator
Mike77 Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Outstanding build! I have yet to build a 377 but after seeing yours I really want to have a crack at one.
extmcdriver Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Great job, nice looking rig from head to toe!!!!!!
Jim B Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Very nice job on the 377 & trailer. Your Detroit Diesel Series60 looks very well done.
wayne swayze Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 I generally don't check out the big rigs, but I'm glad I took a look at this beautiful build! Great job!
kilrathy10 Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 (edited) This is a great looking model.....That striping is really nice.....Looks really clean.....Are those decals or paint??? Either way they look great......You did a great job on the rig and the trailer looks just as good.....Tough to make that thing look right....Oddly, the 377 is one of the rigs that can be displayed with this trailer without looking too bad, because it can be built without the sleeper top fairing....Making up for the short trailer height.......I've still got 2 more of those refer trailers, but after the Moebius offering came out, they've been all but forgotten....Awesome work.....Just awesome....
