Who's That Lady?

Years ago, my father worked at 419 Park Ave. South, in Manhattan. Crown Publishing was in the same building. He used to get free books from a friend, who was an editor. I now have all of these books.....all 2,100 of them. Everything from science to the history of burlesque.  :)

I envy you for that, seriously. :D

Venus in Furs ?

"SUMO" and "White Women" by Helmut Newton. "SUMO" is supposed to be a coffee table book. It's actually a coffee table on its own. It weighs around 35-40 lbs. and is about 28" long. I just measured it.

Some of you will find this a snap. Name them, and what they have in common.

Due to lack of response, I'll just provide the answer.

If you connected #1 and #3 (Deborah Walley and Sandra Dee), you would come up with GIDGET. If you searched Gidget on Google images, you would find everything.

#1, Deborah Walley, movie Gidget #2.

#2, Karen Valentine, TV movie Gidget in 1969, "Gidget Grows Up," a failed attempt to re-boot the Sally Field series.

#3, Sandra Dee, movie Gidget #1.

#4, Kathy Kohner-Zuckerman, the real-life Gidget. All the shows were based on books about her by her father.
