Snake45 Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Even better : Leaving Las Vegas ! Oh my god ! All of that leather ! If the movie Leaving Las Vegas makes you thirsty, you might have a drinking problem.
Ace-Garageguy Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Years ago, my father worked at 419 Park Ave. South, in Manhattan. Crown Publishing was in the same building. He used to get free books from a friend, who was an editor. I now have all of these books.....all 2,100 of them. Everything from science to the history of burlesque. I envy you for that, seriously.
1972coronet Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 I have a book about that, too. Venus in Furs ?
SfanGoch Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 (edited) Venus in Furs ?"SUMO" and "White Women" by Helmut Newton. "SUMO" is supposed to be a coffee table book. It's actually a coffee table on its own. It weighs around 35-40 lbs. and is about 28" long. I just measured it. Edited April 27, 2016 by SfanGoch

sjordan2 Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Some of you will find this a snap. Name them, and what they have in common.
sjordan2 Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Let's try this another way: Did anyone watch Saturday morning TV around 1975? Joanna Cameron, AKA Isis (Needs a new title for future syndication)

sjordan2 Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Sean Penn when he worked at Lucky Cheng's. That's exactly who I was going to say.
Snake45 Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 And this one? That's George, the doper who lived downstairs from me in the '80s, We called him Spicoli for obvious reasons.

SfanGoch Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Say, That's not funny.......... I wear my hair long. In fact, it's half-way down my back now............ Did you work at Lucky Cheng's too?
JollySipper Posted April 27, 2016 Author Posted April 27, 2016 Nah, I'm just a bum hippie too lazy to get a hair cut..................
sjordan2 Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Some of you will find this a snap. Name them, and what they have in common. Due to lack of response, I'll just provide the answer. If you connected #1 and #3 (Deborah Walley and Sandra Dee), you would come up with GIDGET. If you searched Gidget on Google images, you would find everything. #1, Deborah Walley, movie Gidget #2. #2, Karen Valentine, TV movie Gidget in 1969, "Gidget Grows Up," a failed attempt to re-boot the Sally Field series. #3, Sandra Dee, movie Gidget #1. #4, Kathy Kohner-Zuckerman, the real-life Gidget. All the shows were based on books about her by her father.
Dave Van Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Karen Valentine!!!! That name has not crossed my mind since I was a teen.......she is still lookin good as I remember...thx
