FordRodnKustom Posted February 18, 2019 Posted February 18, 2019 I like the way this old AMT Ford came out. All good ole Testor's paints. Once in a while I seem to get it right LOL. 1

slownlow Posted February 24, 2019 Posted February 24, 2019 Just finished this. The darker color is Go Mango and the lighter is self mixed.
Foxer Posted February 27, 2019 Posted February 27, 2019 These shiny, glowing, intricate paint jobs I envy so much. I've tried 5 times just to paint a simple gloss black Infinity G35 and it's still waiting for the 6th try. My favorite is a decrepit Cameo prototype with rusted steel fenders. Doing everything wrong was easy for me! 1

Wow, that is the most realistic looking rust I've seen. I like the wiper strokes on the dirty windshield also!

crowe-t Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 This is an AMT '55 Chevy I painted for a friend to use as a slot car but I really like how this one came out.
Claude Thibodeau Posted April 13, 2019 Posted April 13, 2019 Hi! Johan 68 300C, but now 300 V (Viper powertrain). First attemps with Dollar store nail polish + ghost flames on side. CT
prowillys Posted May 13, 2019 Posted May 13, 2019 Claude- Most everything on this forum is pretty cool and I should comment on way more of them than i do. This however really caught my eye. You've got the right stance, tire/wheel combo, and an awesome paint job. I wouldn't mind seeing a few more pic of it. Fantastic job!
Claude Thibodeau Posted May 13, 2019 Posted May 13, 2019 Hi Ron! Thanks for the comments. The stance is the result of a custom-built chassis, with precisely calibrated suspensions. Hours of fun! CT
RestoModGuy Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 Custom C7 Stingray blended with C3 styling. Duplicolor Bahama Blue with several polished clear coats.
MarcelT4 Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 Hello, here my own favorite paintjob. Paint with Zero Fine Silver, Zero Candy Flame Red, Tamiya Smoke, Tamiya Clear Red and finally Zero Paints Diamond 2K Clear. A very cool Candy effect. 1
