Mr Stock Posted May 9, 2016 Posted May 9, 2016 This probably going to be a stupid question but what is a Gundam marker ?, I hear of them mentioned a lot in modelling circles, is it just a paint marker?, or like a sharpie permanenet in marker?.
BigTallDad Posted May 9, 2016 Posted May 9, 2016 If you do a Google search, you'll find suppliers, color charts, tutorials, etc..
aurfalien Posted May 9, 2016 Posted May 9, 2016 I've a set, they are pretty darn cool. They are acrylic paint markers which you clean up with 91%-ish alcohol.
misterNNL Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 I took a look into your albums and there is a lot of really beautiful work there! I highly recommend that everyone take a look for yourself.
sjordan2 Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 My daughter used lots of Gundam paints and fine-point pens for her Gundam Wing model kits (a sort of Transformer-type series of fantasy robot space ships from manga-style anime TV shows and movies). The pens are terrific for detailing panel lines, etc.

martinfan5 Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 These are some Gundam markers, as you can see, they are just markers with a fine tip, they are basically the same as a Nano-Liner marker, gundam is just a name given to them because they are marketed towards the gundam builders( is my understanding) , I will say that the gundam markers seem to work better than the Nano-Liner markers ive tried. I use them for doing panel lines, I find using them easier than trying to use a panel accent wash.
