Danno Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 Those are indistinguishable from the AA wheels manufactured by Ma's Resins.
fractalign Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 (edited) I do make them and I have cast up various test versions. The biggest obstacle to getting them to the production stage has been sourcing a set of stainless steel lugs. I was finally able to purchase a set of lugs a couple of weeks back to complete the wheels after months of looking. Once I secure the right diameter wire for the studs I can begin the finally assembly before I cast them. The image below is of the master. This is also the same wheel that will be on the rear. The centre hub is also completed but not shown in the image. Edited May 23, 2016 by fractalign
Casey Posted January 10, 2018 Posted January 10, 2018 I think these are as close as you're going to find: https://scenesunltd.com/products/ford-bb-wheel-tire-set-m44 Danny, if you catch this, are the 1/25 version available now?

Art Anderson Posted January 10, 2018 Posted January 10, 2018 When I was doing All American Models resin kits, I mastered the 1.5 ton wheels, which BTW were continued by Ford all the way out to 1953. Those were a feature of my Ford Model AA, Model BB and later V8 Ford truck kits and chassis. Art
Chariots of Fire Posted January 11, 2018 Posted January 11, 2018 The Yat Ming '38 Ford fire truck had these tires and wheels as well.

I'm guessing that these would be too small for a 1950 Ford F8?
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted January 11, 2018 Posted January 11, 2018 There is a set from Ron Cash on Ebay right now.

dannyi Posted January 23, 2018 Posted January 23, 2018 Sorry guys, just noticed this thread. I have the tires ready for the 1/25th version and I'm working on the wheels now. Hate to give an exact date for market because I'm always over optimistic with that but hopefully they'll be ready soon. I'll definitely post here when I have them available.
