.....getting a bit worried about GENE AHART,,,known on the forum as SPEEDFREAK......I had been emailing him back and forth as he was using a computer at his local library ,,,and I had been talking on the phone back and forth with Gene the last couple of months....he is going thru some terrible personal hardships presently with health issues, and family problems as well. if any member has any info, please let me know....I am getting worried ....the Ace....

I had a pm May 3rd Ace was the last i talked with him. He did say that he was using a library computer and he was going thru a rough patch. I do miss his presence and pm's...

hi Carl....I've tried getting ahold of him every way possible, and frankly I'm very worried about him. he's going thru more than a rough patch, and I find it very odd he won't contact yourself, whom he considers a good friend, and myself.  I called the Salvation Army in his area weeks ago to check on him,,,,they spoke to a neighbor that said they see him once in a while. since then, nothing....no library action either, and his cell goes right to messaging....if you hear anything please let me know, Carl,,,he's at a bad place in his life right now, and I'm really worried.  thanks for responding,,,,best,  the Ace....
