It's a Hearse now, was an ambulance...4 wheel disc brakes, engine has Edelbrock dress up kit, wheels & front suspension from AMT 49 Merc Rides kit with some scratch work, Escalade seats, automatic floor shift...rear plate says it all........

Very cool! Could we see a shot of the chassis to see how you finished the front end setup?

By the way, member crowe-t is looking for the stock wheelcovers if you didn't use them:

Gorgeous build. I really do like it. Kinda reminds me of the hearse that Tony Stewart had built for himself a few years back.

 

A blackwash to the grille and valvecovers/air cleaner, and maybe smoke wash to bring out the detail in the rims, along with chrome door handles/locks, and some chrome mirrors, and a wired distributor would really put it over the top. :)

Chris, I used the spindles from the 49 Merc & the lower a-arms from the Caddy, from the bottom it appears to be stock.

Very cool! Could we see a shot of the chassis to see how you finished the front end setup?
