This was my senior year of High School 1979 drafting design project. I drew it, built it from sheet plastic and plastic-wood with squadron green putty.

There are a few kit parts, tires/wheels, interior, engine from an old F1 racer but other than that, this one is all my design and build. I was very lucky to have it survive nearly 40-years and still stay together.

I find a new appreciation for you efforts ever time I look at the pics.

Just noticed the steering wheel-did you source that from the AMT '53 Ford P/U? It looks identical to the one I just used in my '29 Rat Rod. Talk about polar opposites......

That is very cool indeed!!  It reminds me of

one of the 80's designs by Pinheadfarina.

    Or something like that!!

Very nice scratch building. Awesome that you still have it in one piece as a memento of your youth.

Totally awesome, must have some real bad blind spots though, I'd still drive it, and it's survived 40yrs which is really cool.

Awesome. That's a piece of history right there! I'm so glad it has survived. You did a fantastic job designing and building it all those years ago. The fact that it has opening doors is particularly impressive, considering the materials it's constructed from!
