First post! Mad max style models are my thing. Cut down a revell kw "snap" frame to mount a 59 eldorado body on, very rusted. Brush painted with craft paints. Just figuring out the wheelbase on this beast and thinking of a heavily weathered white interior. Thoughts?

That is pretty cool, I must admit!

What method of rusty-crusty did you

use to get that look?

The result is quite realistic for sure!!!

Painted all rust colour, then a layer of "crackle effect" craft paint over which the blue was painted. Then rubbed off patches before it dried completely. Super easy to do and no expensive paints or powders needed!

Looking "Cadaclyismic".

I think Tom just gave it a name. :)

Very cool project going on here! I especially like it because I'm just getting ready to wrap up a post-apoc '59 Cattle-Ack of my own.

Looking "Cadaclyismic".

Given that this movie/fantasy build combines a Cadillac body and interior with a semi chassis and power train, why not name it using terms from both worlds?  May I suggest ... Fleetwood Mack?
