Ace-Garageguy Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 Does anyone know if the Revell '40 coupes frame and running gear would fit under the older sedan body? THAT would get my attention. Yes. It fits under the old AMT '36 Fords too, as it should....as the frames are very close to identical in reality, and the models in question are reasonably well scaled.
junkyardjeff Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 Since it really does not make a nice 39 due to the dash and wiper locations if I do not want it as a deluxe I build it as a 40 standard.

I think they're all the same underneath. The model not the real 1:1 cars, wouldn't want to start another rant.
