95neon Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Hi everybody, sorry I haven't been on in months, my '72 GTO project took a tumble off a dresser a few months ago and between honors classes in school and work I haven't had any time to start putting it back together. Hopefully I'll get that project back on track eventually. Anyway heres my latest build, a '69 Nova SS 350. Paint is Rust-Oleum Orange with no clear coat. The front end was way too high out of box so I ripped out the axle pins and dropped the front end all the way, the right front wheel gave me trouble but it's good enough for me. I still need to paint up the side marker lights and put on the license plates, but here she is. I took the pics with a neat little nova badge my brother got me from a pawn shop.
Intmd8r Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Good looking build - reminds me of the one that used to roam my local streets a while back.
James2 Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 Great model. If I may suggest a bit of BMF and paint detail on the side makers would really enhance the appearance.
bbowser Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 Great model. If I may suggest a bit of BMF and paint detail on the side makers would really enhance the appearance. I was going to suggest the same thing. Outstanding model, no one will miss that one on the street!
