Tom99 Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 The Revell Staraky & Hutch Ford Torino was a goodstart, to building a stock 1976 Ford Gran Torino.I had to modify the rear suspension and engine. The wheels and tires came out of the parts box.I painted it as per a picture, in the 1976 Torino dealer brochure,Scalefinishes 1976 Ford Med. Gold Met.
louie Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 Yeah, I really like this one. Does look like a 1/1 car. Nice build and keep up the great work. Thank you. Jeff
RestoModGuy Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 Tom, nice job on this. Very well executed replica of the Torino in stock showroom form.I will agree it's a pretty good kit, nice work Revell.
Rob Hall Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 Sweet..I have something like that in mind for one of mine.
Lovefordgalaxie Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 Very cool, and well done. The AMT 1958 Chevy Impala air cleaner is not very Fordy, but it works ok.
Mr Stock Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 That looks great Tom, that engine bay is crying out for some wiring detail
Fanof69 Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 Very nice build Tom!! I have the S&H kit but haven't decided how I want to build it. You've definitely given me some food for thought. Thanks!!
unclescott58 Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 Beautiful. The nicest one I think I've seen so far.
Ron Hamilton Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 I agree with Scott. That is a very nice build.
