flea market gold

Recommended Posts

Very cool. I have been getting a lot of models at the flea market lately as I set up there every weekend and a lot of vendors know I like them and will let me know if they have any. Usually don't pay over $5.00 each and most of the time much less. Great place to find kits and builtups.

no plans right now, looking around to see if parts are available, how much they cost etc. I have the windshield area from a 67 convertible but I haven't got it out  to see if it will fit. wheels and tires would be changed , the tail light is the only part I'm worried about.

here's another one I picked a month ago, don't think I posted it, a 59 Country Sedan wagon, think I got it for a couple of bucks. It has hard plastic wheels and tires and a metal plate chassis.

Robert,

I have one of those myself that was in similar condition when I got it. I have been working away on it. I have a suggestion for a parts source, an AMT 1970 Chevy. It will give you a correct fitting windshield, and the frame can be made by carefully modifying the part from the hardtop. You are on your own for sunvisors.

Great find! (turning green with envy ;)) What are your plans for it? You could gut a Revell Skyliner for the innards.

I have that Wagon

Infact 2

one was being bashed with an EDSEL front clip to make

an 59 Villager

That is the Toy and will Not warp!!

But then, silver plastic bumpers, etc

No hubcaps, interior, or windows

I also have the Deluxe Promo

with all this one does not have

Tires are the same, just with the opening for the hubcaps

instead of the "full" moon cap molded with the tire
