You should be able to modify the kit taillights, it looks like just remove the vertical bars between the 3 sections and add one that goes horizontally down the middle.

Looking forward to seeing some more progress on this thing, I've wanted to do something like this for a while now, but money, time, and skill have got in the way.

Quick update. Got some of the engine painted and assembled.

Here are the headers, they are the small block headers modified into big block headers. I still need to putty and sand them, as well as add the mounting flanges.

Here are the modified valve covers, to correct the incorrect bolt pattern. I have a little more sanding to do to get them ready for chrome.

Finally, here's the engine so far. Corvette 427 big block, painted Chevy Engine Orange. I modified the water pump to more closely resemble the long nose 1969 style rather than the short nose 1967 style. I also had to extend the crankshaft pulley to match the water pump.

I have made things to be 3d printed, the wheels for this project are one thing I've had done. I don't have a printer myself though and use Shapeways for my printing.

Do a Google search for Sketchup Make 2014. It's a free program that you can make 3d models with, and there are numerous tutorials on how to use it. You would have to search how to convert their file to an STL file to upload to the printer.
