V8 Trucker Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 (edited) Hi everyone, I tried to recreate my Chevelle, with more or less success. The old AMT kit was a 72er version and conserve parts. I have Crager Magnum rims and tires fitted with marking, ground off the SS emblems on the sides and blackened the grill like the original. The position / front indicator adapted to the 71er model, since I must still have a go. Daddyfink Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 Very cool! Make me miss my '71 Chevelle. I noticed you have the '72 grille on your '71.
Curt Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 Nice model and I enjoyed your pictures, too. Your hood prop is very American!
Hubert Rollins Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 Very cool Chevelle- both small and big!!
bbowser Posted August 21, 2016 Posted August 21, 2016 This hits a soft spot for me as I had a 1:1 71, 350/350 turbo, dark green, green interior. Loved that car. Your model hits the mark perfectly, well done!
shoopdog Posted August 21, 2016 Posted August 21, 2016 Very cool model and 1:1 for sure. Your Chevelle sure must turn some heads when it comes rumbling down the street.
