Andrew Howard Posted August 22, 2016 Posted August 22, 2016 Like most modelmakers, i dread the window beads,so what i use are these, these wre both used on the Autocar, even for the rear wheel studs.
Superpeterbilt Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 Yes, I use this also. I dont use sharpies though, because they tend to leave a purple hue. In my local hardware store there are some black paint pens in the welding supply section. I highly recommend these. Just be careful not to flood the wick with too much paint and your golden.
philo426 Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 A good brush and a steady hand still work for me!
Leonidas Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 I'll either use BMF or if I have to paint them I'll use Tamiya masking tape and slice the edges as needed around the window(s). Throw some paint on then gently remove the tape before it dries too much and flakes off with the tape. Pretty easy and doesn't take too long.
