txfatboy Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 As I dig out the hobby room and reacquaint myself with its contents, I thought I would post up some of my past builds. This was a Tony Nancy kit I built a few years ago. The theme was a dragster that a few buddies could have built in a garage back in the day. It has some minor detail changes mainly being the headers from aluminum tubing. The biggest disappointment are the rear tires. I tried to do something about the seam but the rubber is super thin and it just tore. I may consider a resin replacement if they are available.
bbowser Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Great paint and decals, I really like the realism of the engine.
spencer1984 Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 Great paint and decals, I really like the realism of the engine.Seconded, the work on that engine is terrific
Ace-Garageguy Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 Best looking headers of this type I've ever seen.
txfatboy Posted August 30, 2016 Author Posted August 30, 2016 Appreciate the compliments. This was my first 1/16 scale build. Gotta eventually do something about those rear tires though.
Dann Tier Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 Ive never built one of these, and RARELY look at them, but this is the fourth time I've come back to look at yours. NICE job!! love looking at your engine detail!
