Great, thanks, looking forward to getting this started.

I have a few other builds on the go right now, but who doesn't right.

I have the Revell Cougar xr7 low rider kit, but may go another route.

Really looking forward to seeing what the group does with this build.

Here's my entry, Gunze Sangyo VW Karmann Ghia.  Just painted it today and decided to run with it, the colour is Testor's Sunset Red Pearl.  Wheels/tyres are everyone's favourite, Pegasus, the Gold variety.

I really like your chosen subject Paul, something different from the norm. Look forward to seeing a progress update.

Havent had a chance to work on my build, been busy working. But il get there eventually, sooner rather than later hopefully

This is going to be my entrant. I won't be starting for a few weeks as I have a couple other priorities. This will be my first true lowrider build. Hoping to make it worthy of the art, style and creative elements these are known for.

Lloyd, for your first true lowrider, what's better than a 64 Impala !

I didn't want to fill this thread up with pics of just my build, so Ive started a WIP for my 64 'on the workbench'... It explains about the door and hopefully a few handy tips for building these rides !

Look forward to seeing yours take shape, I finally got my pegasus rims on order too. :D

Not much of an update, but progress is progress I guess.

Made the most of the weekend weather, got some paint on a few engine parts.

Quick rough mock up of some parts.

 Cheers Martin.

How did u do the connections on the front rams ??

The connector/fittings are from Revell 55 Chevy Pro sportsman.

Here is the part on the sprue tree that the fittings were cut off.

Any interest in allowing a VW Beetle to join?

1)  must be a lowrider, for obvious reasons.  This means, it must have lowrider wheels (spokes).     Yup.
2)  you can build it out of the box or you can go all out custom.     Got that covered.
3)  the build must be a brand new build or barely started, please post pictures.     Started last night.
4)  the build will start on 10/1/16 and last through 10/1/17.    I think I can finish by then.
5)  have fun!    I'll try my best.

I don't see why not - my VW Karmann Ghia has been well received!
