RandyB. Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Finished pics of the MPC 1970 Pontiac Bonneville. My first completed new kit since last winter. I've been in a building slump for months and haven't been at my bench at all. I think I have the itch again to build. Going to finally get my 1962 Pontiac done next.
AC Norton Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 what a pair of li'l sweethearts.....great project choice's and beautiful builds to boot...thanks for sharing.....the Ace....
'70 Grande Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Wow! Incredibily nice builds! Your paintwork is outstanding! I flashed-back to the early-1970's when I looked at your first pic; my grandmother had a neighbor on one side that drove a 1966 Bonneville in Turquoise and the neighbor on the other side had a 1970 or 1971 Bonneville in a Dark Brown color. Thanks for the flashback!
espo Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Those are beautiful, looks like you could get in and drive away. Outstanding fit and finish on both Ponchos.
bbowser Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Great pair. I've a soft spot for full-size Ponchos, these fill the bill nicely.
Fanof69 Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Wow! Those are two beautiful Pontiacs!! Great work on these.
kilrathy10 Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Nice work....I saw this model on the shelf at Hobby Lobby the other day.....Wasn't sure about it, but I think I just might have to snag one, now.....Great job....
Yahshu Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Sweet, would like to see one built as a pick up
CometMan Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Very well done, Randy! I haven't seen too many of the '70's built for a rather unusual subject, I wish they would have re-issued the '65 Bonneville instead of the Grand Prix, because the Bonne has a much cleaner looking grille than the GP!
disabled modeler Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 Simply stunning...! I am a fan of the big bodied Pontiacs....have a old 70 HT that needs another body and glass I have to find someday.
David G. Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 Excellent work on both of them, but the color of the convertible is perfect.David G.
Chuck Mols Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 Great job, I was also transported back in time to when these graceful monster roamed the roads.
