Chrischu33 Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 If it's for sale, can I buy it? bc this camaro looks fineee
gman Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 Beautiful paint. Nicely done- a "how-to" would be interesting.
Snake45 Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 AMT kit! If it's a '67, you forgot to add the vent windows. Not a big deal, easy to fix. Not a big fan of the paint color, but there's no denying you got a very good finish with the stuff. Not sure I've ever seen a car done with Createx before. I'll join Gman in encouraging you to do a how-to or tutorial on using it. Well done and model on!
cgvette Posted November 2, 2016 Author Posted November 2, 2016 definitely a 67, left the vent windows off, i like that look better, peace
DumpyDan Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 Um that color on that car is just out of this world, nicely done..........Love it.
Harry P. Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 Paint looks good, but why is the foil so rough? Especially along the trim above the side windows.
Davewilly Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 Looks pretty cool to me! I like the how the color makes the whole "pop" Nice build!
Dann Tier Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 nicely done! Looks like a winner to meI agree! VERY, VERY nice!!
Phirewriter Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 (edited) Looks almost like Spectraflame yellow, a color found on redline Hot Wheels from '68 - '72 I've used Createx Wicked Colors and AutoAir with good results. I know there are cheap ways to thin Createx but the best results I've had was using their # 2012 high performance reducer with either a Testors lacquer or automotive urethane clear coat. The nice thing with these waterborne paints are the fine pearl finishes as demonstrated above, looks great!!BTW if you're looking to try these paints cheap, Hobby Lobby (use your coupon) has a mixed rack of Createx including the Wicked and a small section of AutoAir. asfastasu Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 What did you use for a clear Thanks for sharing.
DeeCee Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 That is one gorgeous color, and well painted too, a sweet build.
lghtngyello03 Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 (edited) Awesome build, any under body and under hood shots? The interior color goes perfectly with the body color, what color name/brand is it? Edited November 3, 2016 by lghtngyello03
espo Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 Great looking build. The color and finish really stand out. Just the right "rake" on the ride height.
