yes, the correct color is Hemi Orange,  and Testors Model Master brush and spray are both made.....if that's more difficult to find in the U.K., then some of the Humbrol gloss orange paints can be blended with a touch of red and such, and after playing around a bit, you will have something very close......good luck, best,...the Ace....;)

Hey, friend.... since it's a Hemi in that kit, it would be orange. Turquoise was the non-Hemi color for the big block Chryslers..........

Wasn't turquoise used on A/C equipped big block engines?

The model doesn't have A/C on so does that mean it has to be orange ?

Hemi's never came with air....they were orange only, as I mentioned above....why some guy's comment to confuse the whole issue is alway's beyond me, but typical on this forum....the info I mentioned in my first post is the way to go, trust me..............the Ace.....

1967  v8 engines were turquouse , regardless of size - ac or not .

EXCEPT a 426 Hemi , they were all Hemi orange

'67 B/RB motors were turquoise. I don't remember ever seeing a 273 in other than red. I think the 318 in my '67 Charger is red (but not going to the trailer to check). The 426 Hemi was definitely orange.
