International Transtar Wrecker

Hello

I am Juergen from germany and i want to show you my newest Truck i built.

I found a pic from an International Transtar Wrecker in WWW.

And i want to built the model like the Original on the pic.

I take an ERTL Transtar and an AMT Wrecker for this project.

But i must built a lot scratch, cause the AMT Wrecker is not 100% like the Wrecker on the pic.

Wow! Ive seen the pic of the real one before, and you nailed it. I dont know how its not 100%, but its got be 99.9% at least. What a spectacular build.

Superb model, Jürgen - it looks like a clone of the real thing.

You have to look very closely to spot some slight differences, that are hardly noticable (sun visor, front bumper and the light bar behind the cab sitting a bit lower on the model) - but these are peanuts! I wish I could replicate an original truck as good as you did it - congratulations!!!
