PARTSMARTY Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 I'm with Steve-hurricane city-tornado zone lol.
crazyjim Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 I clean my whole hobby room every month. That's dusting, parts vacuum, sweep & mop the floor.
espo Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 I always clean the work area after every build. Sometimes I have to do a light cleaning during the build when the area starts getting to cluttered. It seems as thought I start to run out of desk top as I get thru the mockup and modification stages. I try to keep tools picked up as I go, but never seems to be 100%. Before starting the final assembly I always wipe down the area to keep any sanding dust and bits and pieces from getting on the finished body and interior. I'm not the cleanest builder here, but it does look like some of the others here are in an operating room instead of model building desk.
peekay Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 I hate working amidst dust and clutter and I tend to tidy my bench several times a week if I'm spending a lot of time there. The whole room (which is quite small and doubles as a music room) gets a good going-over at least once a month.(This probably isn't the only evidence of a sick mind.)
slusher Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 I clean my table/bench after each build. I am well organized so everything has a place. I work on carpet so i sand over a small trash can. The whole room gets cleaned often and my wife helps with dusting the shelves because the cars are in stackable cases.
