Kit Basher Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 I've looked at some methods for making right angle boots for spark plug wires. All of them are labor intensive and well above my skill level. So, laziness being the mother of invention, I tried another way. First, bend your spark plug wire at a right angle. Then add a dab of this stuff at the bend. That gives you this: It needs to dry for 24 hours. Here's the result. Not perfect, but what do you folks think?
BigTallDad Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 If you take a short piece of insulation that will fit over the plug wire, cut it mid-length at a 45 degree angle. Rotate one piece 180 degrees and you have a right angle; slide one piece on the plug wire, bend the plug wire at 90 degrees, slide the second piece on, then dip in your liquid electrical tape.I think you can also get 90 degree boots from Pro Tech.
