AthOz Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 Those bars to stiffen the engine bay look terrific. However... where are the strut towers? Did you delete them?
taaron76 Posted February 16, 2017 Author Posted February 16, 2017 Those bars to stiffen the engine bay look terrific. However... where are the strut towers? Did you delete them?Go back and read my post. This kit is anything but close to the original, and the shock towers that come in this kit really aren't there, so improvised where the mounts are located. I had to glue the mounts and rods to the body, versus the shock towers and inner fenders like it normally would be.
Reeves Racing Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 Looking awesome, Where did you source the HEI distributor from?

taaron76 Posted February 19, 2017 Author Posted February 19, 2017 Just a quick update on the grille section. Please don't blast me, I didn't model this grille to be identical to the Shelby, with relation to the Pony and lights, but just how I wanted them to sit. Tim
taaron76 Posted February 20, 2017 Author Posted February 20, 2017 Seats and seat belts assembled and installed. I'm hoping to have this one finished today and ready to the DSLR photoshoot. Tim

adamelvis Posted April 4, 2017 Posted April 4, 2017 Slow progress over the last couple of weeks, but making the door jambs and everything else that doesn't magically appear when you cut and hinge the doors is tedious work. Since this will have a 4-link, I deleted the back seat and boxed the rear compartment in. All of my parts came in to make the 4-link functional, but still making the coilovers and the rest of the hardware that attaches to the axle housing and frame. The ride height isn't exactly set, but when I finish the suspension, it will be pretty close to this. The 4-link will be function, so I will be able to adjust it as needed. Still debating on putting the 427 in it, or the 5.0 Coyote engine. Tim Hi Tim, Where can I pick up a similar rear end/4 link like what you got up here. Went to RBM and found all the fittings, but no rear end. I see you are using another one on your green '67 GT350. Same fitting sizes too ? Thanks! Adam
