martinfan5 Posted December 25, 2016 Posted December 25, 2016 Taking a look at What's In The Box of Pagani Huayra From Aoshima And Photo's of the parts trees http://s1105.photobucket.com/user/irvan2836/library/Kit reviews/Pagani Huayra From Aoshima
maltsr Posted December 25, 2016 Posted December 25, 2016 Thanks for this Jonathan, I can see this kit is going to be fun!
Bennyg Posted December 25, 2016 Posted December 25, 2016 Looks great. Reminds me of tamiya's LaFerrari. I wonder if the parts fit will be better?Ben
o-man Posted December 25, 2016 Posted December 25, 2016 Look forward to your build. Tires may not have sidewall detail, but they are definitely Pirelli P-Zeros
Dragline Posted December 25, 2016 Posted December 25, 2016 OMG how nice is that?! I cannot wait to get mine. Thanks for the images.
aurfalien Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 Insane kit, why did I buy this? Way way way beyond my abilities to build right.Oh well, I'll still enjoy having it around.
lawes87 Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 great video! been looking forward this model for a while but i will be building in 2017 at some point
beeRS Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Thanks for the great video.I just had mine delivered from HLJ today. What an amazing kit. With a few exceptions - I have not seen plastic engineering like this since Fujimi's Enthusiast series. What a great job Aoshima have done. Now; it would be great to see some of the aftermarket companies get on board and make this an even more detailed model.
Dragline Posted March 4, 2017 Posted March 4, 2017 There is a PE fret for it. When I bought mine I ordered it at the same time. Wanna see it? I'll snap a pic...
Dragline Posted March 4, 2017 Posted March 4, 2017 (edited) Here is the fret. Comes with exhaust tips as well. Nice scripts in there as well. I think there are even some for the door jams. Edited March 4, 2017 by Dragline
Chuck Kourouklis Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Yeah, Aoshima's been on a good rip of late - but this sucker's just OUT THERE, even by those heightened standards. Over 260 parts before you start factoring in the detail-up goodies.Watching with great interest, Jonathan...
horsepower Posted March 11, 2017 Posted March 11, 2017 Look forward to your build. Tires may not have sidewall detail, but they are definitely Pirelli P-ZerosI must have been watching from a screen with better resolution, I definitely saw sidewall detail in the close-up I was looking at.
Mike Chernecki Posted March 21, 2017 Posted March 21, 2017 What is the difference between the Japanese version and the Overseas version?
Exotics_Builder Posted March 21, 2017 Posted March 21, 2017 What is the difference between the Japanese version and the Overseas version? If I recollect, the overseas version has an optional clear body so you can see the detail.
89AKurt Posted March 21, 2017 Posted March 21, 2017 I got this before I joined the forum. It's outstanding.
martinfan5 Posted March 21, 2017 Author Posted March 21, 2017 If I recollect, the overseas version has an optional clear body so you can see the detail. You are recollecting correct.
Exotics_Builder Posted March 21, 2017 Posted March 21, 2017 You are recollecting correct. Thought so. I decided I didn't care about the clear body so got the Japanese market version.
Mike Chernecki Posted March 21, 2017 Posted March 21, 2017 Does anyone make a set of templated carbon fiber decals for this? Any in the works by anyone?
martinfan5 Posted March 22, 2017 Author Posted March 22, 2017 (edited) Does anyone make a set of templated carbon fiber decals for this? Any in the works by anyone? At moment, there is not, and I am pretty sure someone is working on a set. Edited March 22, 2017 by martinfan5

beeRS Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 Here is the fret. Comes with exhaust tips as well. Nice scripts in there as well. I think there are even some for the door jams. I didn't order the PE fret at the same time as the kit from HLJ. I looked closely at the pics available on the internet and I could see that the side indicator/Pagani script ovals were wrong. Also the accelerator pedal is wrong. I hope I'm not sounding too picky, but they look badly wrong to me. I wonder if Aoshima are going to correct this? If not, I hope one of the after-market PE manufacturers do. Also, a pre-cut CF decal sheet will make life a lot easier.

beeRS Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 The pedals are correct for a Zonda. Is that a hint that Zonda is in the works as well? A Zonda would be great. With the unveiling of the new Huayra Roadster, I guess it wouldn't take Aoshima too much re-tooling to do that too...
