steel_tiger1 Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 I just picked up two of these. Probably my favorite cabover to drive. One in the Rose Way inc. scheme in my future.
k100 Posted January 8, 2017 Author Posted January 8, 2017 I got the frame started a lot of clean up and filling , I filled in all extra holes that won't used , I added fuel tank brackets from an Aerodyne kit , I also added some nut and bolt detail.

purepmd Posted January 18, 2017 Posted January 18, 2017 Excellent start! A good chassis, has been vastly improved with your added details. Well done.
k100 Posted February 10, 2017 Author Posted February 10, 2017 Hello All Just doing February update , Ive been able to do much on the KW, overtime kicked in again just not enough time.
k100 Posted March 5, 2017 Author Posted March 5, 2017 (edited) This is March update, I got the engine block together I noticed on the back of the front cover there is area that needs filled in . I also got some air line ran. The plastic tie rod is pretty flimsy so I replaced it with brass tubing . Edited March 5, 2017 by k100
gatorincebu Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 Your work on the chassis and the plumbing all looks great ! Be Well Gator
Tesla Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 Mark, your detail work is very impressive! If I may ask, did you scratch build or purchase the air line "junction blocks"?
k100 Posted March 5, 2017 Author Posted March 5, 2017 Thanks guys for the comments Dennis I scratch built them , after looking at some of the other builders work I thought would give it a try . I just used some scrap square stock , some of the model sprue for the round pieces ,then Meng nuts & bolts , the round collars are Meng heck bolts drilled out .
