Here's the latest completed build from my bench. I took one of the recently reissued Lindberg 25 Tall T's and did a quick and dirty build-up. I used the Fronty and the front axle from the Vintage Police car reissue from Stevens of recent as well. The wheels are the wires from the Lindberg 34 P/U. Everything else is out of 'da box. I had some real fun building this. The tooling is really showing it's age by how primitive it is. The flash and sink-marks weren't bad, but the mold lines were pretty big. Scale seems to be under, too. Fun kit, but don't expect a lot of detail.

You know Dub, that does look a lot like the AMT one. But then I guess all those Ts do look alike. I didn't know anyone was making Ts anymore. Looks to me like you did a pretty good job if it was as bad as you say.

Nice little hotrod, Jonathan...but I to will probably take a chainsaw to the top if I get one of these kits and cut out about two thirds of it! :D:D

Keep up the great work!!

:D Yeah, Dub,it looks pretty good to me too! Did thae engine come with the kit? looks like an old Frontenac to me,is it? :D

Thanks guys!

George, the engine came out of AMT's Vintage Police car 27 model T phaeton reissue by Stevens International. Same with that drop axle up front. I did have to take about 5/8" from the middle to keep the tires under the fenders, though. That's just one of the areas where the scale deficiency is apparent .

As for the chop.... I saw too many chopped ones being built around me so, I wanted to do it as a phonebooth to be different. :D

Cool little rod! very unique and basic. I like how simple you kept it. Sometimes keeping it simple is harder to do than adding too much detail.
