I have 1 in red & was going to modify it but never thought about an interior.

Other than the length do you need to alter much else ?

I wish we could get these in the UK. Mine was used on eBay as a r/c truck without the remote lol

I didn't do much but cut the area down behind the seats, then cut the interior back. Glued the back wall behind the front seats, I should have altered  the door panels  a little to meet the doors inside better. Also you have to remove the screw posts and speaker holding area on the chassis plate. Not to mention cutting the windshield wiper area away from the  black windshield, and glue it to the body.

I found yet another 2012 Siverado at Wal-Mart. I took it apart, repainted the body, now it wait's for it's donor interior.

Nice job Rick !  I've got a couple of those and plan on building a Crew cab like is sitting in my driveway .  The only real draw back for me is the scale is a bit off , probably 1/22 or 1/23 instead of the advertised 1/24 scale .

Oh shucks, I've got four of these in different stages I was keeping a secret! Kinda blows the whole licensing thing out out the water when u have this much detail in a $5 pullback toy! The bed is just a hair short but that can be corrected. You can change the year model with a simple black stripe in the middle of the grille.

Did you get any further with the blue one Rick ?

Did you start a crew cab Bob ?

I did pick up a vac formed windshield in 2017 from a resin guy who's name escapes me and only just starting to pull 1 apart. I prefer low trucks and have been swopping wheels around for a rough mock up.

1st are the wheels & tyres (ride hight needs raising) from the Jada Fast & Furious Road Runner & 2nd some 8 stud wheels I picked up at a show some years back. Both too big for 1:24/5 but suited to these Silverados.
