I can't believe how good it looks for its age. I've started to question how well models hold up being displayed after building, based upon this example, I really have very little to be concerned with.

Biggest problem I've had with old builds like this is yellowing of the decals over time, especially on white cars.  I don't have them in sunlight or anything?

Yes sir, I have Built the Scooby Doo car also. Couldn't find any purple paint, so I wound up making my own by mixing blue and red paints. I will post a thread about it also
