RestoModGuy Posted January 31, 2017 Posted January 31, 2017 (edited) This was one of my first builds coming back to building models after 40+ years. I owned a brand new one of these 92 Grand Prix's, my first new car. My dad always owned Grand Prix's. Just a quick build from a year and a half ago, nothing special but it's an exact duplicate of my old one. Just updated the wheels, I finally found some scaled BBS wheels that the car came with factory, so this is stock build, very rare from me. Edited January 31, 2017 by RestoModGuy
bogger44 Posted February 1, 2017 Posted February 1, 2017 Nicely done, you don't see many of these built.
Perspective Customs Posted February 1, 2017 Posted February 1, 2017 Nice GP. I'm a fan of just about all GP styles. I had a stock '98 GT coupe for many years that I wish I could make a tribute build for. Nice job!
Draggon Posted February 1, 2017 Posted February 1, 2017 Nice, I really like this, stance and wheels are just right!
Plastic_Passion Posted February 1, 2017 Posted February 1, 2017 Looks great. Always liked this generation of GP.
Lunajammer Posted February 1, 2017 Posted February 1, 2017 Yeah, a smart looking GP. I remember a young woman come through work with an immaculate teal version, which I've always liked. I told she had a beautiful car. By her squirming, I think she thought I was a weirdo
espo Posted February 1, 2017 Posted February 1, 2017 Very nice, clean. I bet this brings back some good memoires.
kelson Posted February 2, 2017 Posted February 2, 2017 Looks great!,i think this is the first time I've ever seen one built on this forum.
xbazzarex Posted February 2, 2017 Posted February 2, 2017 This was my first car as well, Though mine was used. Has a 02 GTP 40th anniversary edition after that. Grand prix's are the best cars ive ever owned. love the build, its even the same color.
o-man Posted February 4, 2017 Posted February 4, 2017 I've got one of these tucked away, and can only hope it looks this good
MrObsessive Posted February 4, 2017 Posted February 4, 2017 Despite those being FWD, they were good looking cars! Nice clean build, and yeah, you don't see these around at all-----model or 1:1.
