I have been working on this 26 T glue bomb for awhile now and there is still a lot work to be done.  Yesterday I assembled the chassis and this morning I sprayed gloss black on it.  Just a few minutes ago I sprayed the Alclad chrome on it.  I'm happy with how it looks.  The body and most of this car is from the Revell 26 T sedan delivery kit.  The fenders are from the AMT Ala Kart kit.  I removed the rear door detail to make this just a 2 dr sedan.  The color is Candy Ruby Red over Silver on the body and Candy Ruby Red over Copper on the fenders.  Also, there is multi color glitter over everything. There still is a lot of work to be done before it's finished.  Thanks fer lookin.  Dan

WOW, thanks guys for the kind words.  I'm enjoying redoing this kit.  I had the fenders from some parts that I got at a show and the 26 was a glue bomb that I wanted to rebuild.  Also, a friend of mine needed a set of fenders from this kit and I gave them to him so he could build his.  So far everything is working out just fine.  I had to do a little work on the front fenders to get the suspension to work.  Had to remove part of the inner fenders to free up the A arms.  Thanks fer lookin.  Dan

Thanks fer sharing this build.IMHO we see too few tall T builds on here. These cars were the backbone of transportation in America for decades.I personally am glad you saved this one from the the glue bomb box.

Thanks a lot guys.  I'm enjoying this rebuild.  Here are a few more pics of what's been done so far today.  I'm using the custom headlights from the AMT 25 T.  I have to make an adjustment for the steering column and also have to spray Alclad on it and a few other parts that should be chrome.  I'm gettin closer to getting 'er done.  Thanks fer lookin.  Dan

Chassis looks great and the body sites just right. I like the full fender look, the leading edge of the front fenders seem to be at an odd angle.
