RandyB. Posted February 13, 2017 Posted February 13, 2017 (edited) Just completed my second build for 2017. Painted in Dupli-color "Creme" with a generous coat of Testors "Wet Look" Clear. Looks close to the factory color Crocus Yellow. Edited February 13, 2017 by RandyB.
RestoModGuy Posted February 13, 2017 Posted February 13, 2017 Just awesome... One of the nicest of this kit I've seen, great work on this one
DumpyDan Posted February 13, 2017 Posted February 13, 2017 Wow very nice, I have never built one of these but after seeing yours I just might
Snake45 Posted February 13, 2017 Posted February 13, 2017 Very nice! And you're right, that paint does do a passable impression of Crocus Yellow.
peekay Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 Great looking model! Much nicer than the box art.
donb Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 Great looking model! Much nicer than the box art.X2
Intmd8r Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 The color really suits the body - Looks perfect to me!
Bill J Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 Your Chevelle looks perfect. Very nicely done. The 65 has always been the Chevelle I like most of the breed.
TarheelRick Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 All these accolades about this build looking perfect are redundant, the '65 Chevelle SS IS PERFECT. Now that I have that off my chest allow me to say this is a beautiful build. Everything about it just fits so well with the original beauty of the real car. I have three in my stash and will one day build one to resemble the '65 SS I used to own: Tahitian turquoise, 283, 4 spd.
espo Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 Beautiful build. the body is very nicely detailed.
