Hi dungeonracer, I got the driver at the slot car place in Vallejo Ca. where I race, they are vacuum formed of styrene and hand painted.

Total novice here but are the pick ups out in front? Why there? Not that it’s wrong just wondering

The assembly in the front is the slot guide or blade, the copper braids pick up electricity for the motor.

Nice rail. Is that a slipjoint or is it solid mount? What motor? What's it run in the 1/4? Sorry for all the questions . Just a fellow trigger puller.
