Hi!

Italeri rereleased an old Esci model kit of 1984 Transit so I had to build one.

This time I chose to build it as a stock version with some scratchbuild detailing as reflectors behind all light lenses, towing hooks, exhaust tip and cooler behind the kit supplied see - thru - grille etc.

Upholstery has been made by using some fabric tape on seats.

Next one will be a custom van.

Thanks for watching!

Nice clean looking build. I like your idea on the interior. I will have to try that on the next fabric interior I do.

Very nice! Where did you find that cloth tape for the seats?

I had this kit about 30 years ago (long gone now). If I remember correctly, the doors open on this kit?

Thanks for comments. I found that fabric tape on decoration department of local shopping centre here in Finland. Kit has opening doors with toy like hinges so I decided to glue them shut.
