Tom Geiger Posted May 14, 2017 Posted May 14, 2017 Thanks for doing this one. I have always liked the round front Dodge Vans, but until today, I have not had a kit of one since the early '70's when I built a window van kit. I scored both a cargo van and a window van at our clubs NNL.Great score Ron! Good to see you too!
Greg Pugh Posted October 30, 2017 Author Posted October 30, 2017 I recently got some progress pictures from my friend that's doing the mural work. I gave him full run of the leash in regards to creativity. He decided to do a reaper scene. Here's the Driver's side:
Greg Pugh Posted October 30, 2017 Author Posted October 30, 2017 (edited) Even though not 100% complete, here's the process on the Passenger side: Edited October 30, 2017 by Greg Pugh

espo Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 Outstanding art work. That is hard enough in 1:1 scale, 1/25th is just unbelievable.
mustang1989 Posted November 6, 2017 Posted November 6, 2017 A true artist at work here. Awesome stuff Greg. You never disappoint ............that's for dang sure.
Greg Pugh Posted February 13, 2019 Author Posted February 13, 2019 (edited) Well, this one sort of took an interesting turn. My buddy had the paintwork 90% completed and just about ready for clear when something went wrong and he decided to strip it down and start over. Meanwhile, my son's high school football team had an exceptional year and they went to the state championships. And although they lost, it was still a very big moment for my son. Now, I from the beginning, told my buddy to paint this thing however he wanted. I wanted to give him the artistic freedom to lay down whatever he felt like doing. However, I did not see this coming. Unbeknownst to me, he followed along with my son's football season via my Facebook page and randomly one day sent me a message that the van body was about done and he asked if I wanted to see it. I was blown away with what I saw! He painted the van as a tribute for my son and his amazing year of football! So now what was going to be a model for MY shelf, is now going to be a sentimental gift for my son to put on HIS shelf. Anyways, I'll show you a couple of the in-progress photos I requested from my friend and then I'll post up pictures tonight of the cleared body that I just received yesterday. martin9428 Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 My first van was a 1971 Dodge Tradesman snubnose with the double doors on the side and back and a 6 cyl. engine
bigdrag1 Posted February 17, 2019 Posted February 17, 2019 Great looking paint work, love to it rolling.
espo Posted February 17, 2019 Posted February 17, 2019 Amazing paint work. Sometimes you just have to unleash an artist and tell them to just go "Feral" with their design.
kymdlr Posted February 19, 2019 Posted February 19, 2019 That airbrush work is amazing, never seen anything like it.
DumpyDan Posted February 21, 2019 Posted February 21, 2019 Awesome work, paint work over the top. So great.
