Zoom Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 (edited) When I saw Plasthenikers built of this some years ago I was inspired to get one myself. Bought the high-tech version, because of the nice wire wheels. It was terrible to build with all these pewter parts that need to be drilled and filed, and then puts together with pins and rivets.Anyway, I skip the engine and the details on that. There was no way I could get an opening hood that would close tight and nicely, so I glue the hood in place. I only use some of the PE-parts that was including in the kit. I thought the stand was a little bit low so I make some adjustment to get it little higher.I was not satisfied with the result of my effort to get a nice surface and chroming on the bumpers, so I was forced to get the plastic bumpers from another kit. Get some sun in my bedroom, so I take some pictures there. But in the end, I think it came out nice, and this is a beautiful car, I mean in real life Comments are welcome. MrObsessive Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 One of the most beautiful cars to ever hit the road, and your build of it is just that..............BEAUTIFUL! I've got one of these too, but have never gotten up the courage to tackle it. It certainly can be fiddly as you and others have described, but as you've shown, is a real world beater when time and patience is taken with it.
