Agent G Posted April 4, 2017 Posted April 4, 2017 We awoke to a darker and less magical world this morning. A piece of our sunshine went away. All of us were touched in some way by Harry. We are all better for having known him. Fair winds and following seas shipmate, until we meet again. G

Nacho Z Posted April 4, 2017 Posted April 4, 2017 I'm at a loss for words. Thank you to all of you who have said, for me, what I can't put into words.R.I.P Harry. You will be missed.
Lovefordgalaxie Posted April 4, 2017 Posted April 4, 2017 That one was a real hit. Evan tough one rationally tries to be prepared for it, when it actually happens it's always very hard.Only met Harry by messages, and e-mails, but I always felt he was a friend. Here I am in South America, with tears on my eyes over a guy I never met in person, and somehow this fact seems to be very small compared with what not only me, but we all lost. I will never, ever build another kit without remembering of Harry at least once. The last comment he made on a build I did was saying it was perfect. Oh harry, thank you very much.
Deathgoblin Posted April 4, 2017 Posted April 4, 2017 When I saw the title of the thread, my heart just sank. Rest in peace, Harry. Your work was an inspiration to us all. My condolences to his family.
Ace-Garageguy Posted April 4, 2017 Posted April 4, 2017 I will never, ever build another kit without remembering of Harry at least once. Perfectly said, Tulio. Exactly how I feel, and a very eloquent statement as to the kind of impact he had on this community and hobby.
louie Posted April 4, 2017 Posted April 4, 2017 I am so sad to hear this. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. Jeff
ChrisBcritter Posted April 4, 2017 Posted April 4, 2017 Bravo. But you left out the distributor mount. In Harry's honor: My first scratchbuilt distributor bracket setup. He made me want to push myself to do it. R.I.P,. Harry, and thanks for the incentive to do better.
s10chevypu Posted April 4, 2017 Posted April 4, 2017 Sorry to hear this. He will be missed by all of us. R.I.P. Harry. Thank you for all you did for us.

Great comment, Túlio. I lived just 80 miles from him and really wanted to meet him but never had the chance. We spoke a lot over FB and the forums and emails as you did. When Harry says a build is perfect, that is very high praise indeed.
Modelbuilder Mark Posted April 4, 2017 Posted April 4, 2017 This was the first thing I saw when I logged in today. This is very sad news indeed. I hope and pray for his family and friends.
Gregg Posted April 5, 2017 Author Posted April 5, 2017 I was going through my notes. I met Harry in person for the first time at the iHobby Expo in Chicago October 22, 2009. He popped up at the MCM booth, tall as can be, and said, "I'm Harry." Man oh man. What a great guy. He did so much for mag, covered my okole for so many years. You will be missed my friend!!!
Scott Colmer Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 Extremely sad new. Harry, you will be missed. We lost a good one.
