Draggon Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 I'll be interested in seeing feedback. I purchased Purple Power when Super Clean wasn't available to me and thought it didn't do a very good job.
Longbox55 Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 Superclean is stronger than Purple Power, but both will do the job. If all you're wanting to do with is strip model cars, go for the Purple Power. If you're planning to use it for the intended purpose, degreasing/concrete cleaning, as well, then get the Superclean or better yet, Zep Purple degreaser. Both are far superior degreasers than Purple Power.
espo Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 I have used Purple Power for a long time and have been happy with the results. Someone here mentioned using bleach for chrome removal and I 'm doing it that way now.
martinfan5 Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 Alright Mr Cole, here is the deal on those, the purple bottle is the real one, the white is a generic knock off , and it is not as strong, both of those will strip chrome, but the white bottle wont do it as good and will take longer. The white bottle also will not really touch say Tamiya TS paints, the purple bottle will strip most TS sprays.Get the purple bottle

It costs more, but should be worth it if the lower cost stuff is not as effective.
