GerN Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 (edited) One of the most-used items on my workbench is a little box holding tiny paper towels. Just fold and cut two paper towels four times to make 32 tiny towels which are a very useful size. I have found Bounty plain white to be best for this. Edited July 24, 2012 by GerN

I usually keep a roll of paper towels on the workbench (great for those quick and unexpected disasters that strike my workbench now and then... ), but they are often too big for smaller jobs like wiping airbrush parts, blotting decals, cleaning brushes etc. Cutting them up is the obvious solution.
robertw Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 One of the brands of paper towel has a feature that allows you to tear off as half sheets. The half sheet folded in half then folded in half again and two quick cuts creates four pieces that are 5.5x3 inches each. A roll of paper towel can now last half a year or more. Rob W
kasteer Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 Why not just get some cloth gun cleaning pieces... I forget what they're called at this moment ... The ones used to clean the bore. They come in small pieces about 2" square or so.
