MGL
Painted with craft acrylics as an experiment, thinned with just distilled water to about the consistency of milk and cleared with Duplicolor acrylic lacquer. I like these craft acrylics, many colors to choose from and easy to mix up what I want. Thank you for looking, and in Harry's honor I fought those 2 piece side view mirrors instead of pitching them. MGL
Great paint, great build. What brand of acrylics did you use?PB.I've been using the Americana paints from Michaels http://www.michaels.com/americana-acrylic-paint-2-oz/M10132000.htmlThey range from about $.50 to $2.00 for a 2 once bottle, I think the more expensive ones have finer pigments and flow a little better. TooOld
Beautifully done ! And you are right about the acrylics , I've been experimenting with the same ones and the results are excellent plus they are really easy to mix for custom colors . bbowser
Neat, clean work, great color choices. Were flatheads that color in '53? Did those spotlights come in the kit? I really like this!
