Yohan Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 This is the 1/18 scale 1971 383 dodge challenger convertible ive been working on for about a century. It originally had a gross pace car paintjob (i think i posted about it before...) which i'm trying to repaint blue. is a greenlight, i would have wanted to do a highway 61 (couldnt afford it lol) and probably couldn't bring myself to tear one of those apart anyways. So far i've only broken 9 things when disassembling it, and will begin screwing and glueing it back to glroy once i'm done painting it. Also are 1/18 modded car projects allowed one here?
MrObsessive Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 Jonathan, any size and any scale is allowed here on the board! Most of us aren't "scale bigots" (there are some though as I've met them), so feel free to keep us posted with your project! At times, even though I build mostly 1/24-25th scale, I'll stray a bit and maybe do a 1/43 (been a while though), and I've got a number of 1/16 scale kits that I've got plans for in the future. That's an interesting project you got going on BTW!
Modlbldr Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 Looks to be a good project no matter the size. So, is that a metal or plastic body? I'll be watching this one.Later-
Yohan Posted June 3, 2017 Author Posted June 3, 2017 Yes it is a diecast metal model, and thanks for the info Mr obsessive. I'm honestly putting the model down for a while cause I did something horribly wrong. But here's some pics of it loosely assembled before I screwed it up.
