Howard Cohen Posted June 10, 2017 Posted June 10, 2017 How many Batmobiles have you all built? 'Holy cow Batman! These guys built a ton of Batmobile models!' 'Batman Does Bonneville' 'Batcycle' 'Batrod' 'Batmobile being stripped'
ToyLvr Posted June 10, 2017 Posted June 10, 2017 (edited) One of my childhood heroes, who drove the coolest car in the world! Bruce Wayne's Imperial was pretty neat, too! I also though he was hilarious in his guest role on "Big Bang Theory" in recent years. R.I.P., Mr. Anderson.... Edited November 29, 2017 by ToyLvr Add photos
vintagercr Posted June 10, 2017 Posted June 10, 2017 There will only be one Batman. Godspeed Adam West.
slusher Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 A great Batman I grew up watching and still watch when I catch it. R.I.P. Adam West...
High octane Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 May he R.I.P. and I'm partial to the '66 Batmobile.........................................
Snake45 Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 I imagine him being welcomed to TV Heaven by Robert Vaughn, and maybe Mike Connors.....
Dodge Driver Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 He brought class, gravitas, and campy humor to whatever he contributed to. Animation sure won't be the same without his voice-overs.
Snake45 Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 ...class, gravitas, and campy humor.... Now THERE's three terms you don't often find used in the same sentence--but dernit, it actually works in this case. Well played!
D. Battista Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 Not the first and not the last .... but THE... BATMAN...!! He will be missed.....
madhorseman Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 A great Batman I grew up watching and still watch when I catch it. R.I.P. Adam West... Same here Carl, and as campy as it was I still watch. May he R.I.P. and I'm partial to the '66 Batmobile......................................... Totally agree Nick, my Fave as well.
Dragline Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 Got to watch them as a child during this first re-run era. Have it all on DVD now and I love it so much. Gone to the Batcave in the sky.
unclescott58 Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 Mike Conners earlier this year. Now Adam West. How sad. To me West will always represent the true Batman. He was the Batman I was reading about in comic books back then.First Mannix, now Batman. Plus, let's not forget Mr Spock/Nimoy last year. I guess I'm getting old. It's hard hearing about these loved icons passing away.Adam you did a great job. I will always have great memories of the work you did. Thank you. Scott
NYLIBUD Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 Dam,I don't know,it just seems like all these great people in our lives are dying at once.....SH#% RIP Batman,Adam West.I Will admit,I never was a huge Batman fan,but I remember watching his show, when I was a kid.I loved that show.
