Yes. They're like miniature bending brakes in a sheetmetal fabrication shop.

Like a "finger" brake:       

Like a regular sheetmetal brake:

I have  Tamiya Bending Pliers that I find very well made and indispensable for PE parts.

Yes I've used those brakes only on a much larger scale many times working in a number of sheet metal shops over the years.

I don't use much PE and so I use a small metal straight edge and a single sided razor blade for bending.
