For the sake of nostalgia, AMT's now 57-yr old '40 Ford coupe cannot be beaten, but for sheer up-to-date accuracy and clean assembly, it's Revell's '40 Standard Coupe that gets it right.

Here's another toughie . I've now built BOTH kits . The Revell kit turned me off by not having moveable wheels . I now have BOTH the Revell Coupe and an A M T Coupe unbuilt and I'll get to both as diorama support subjects . It's not fair to compare a kit using 1960 technology to 2005 technology either ....

I have them both and  the AMT kit is still my favorite. But then again I have been the number one fan of AMT since 1958.  Richard
