Farmboy Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 Finally got her done. Thanx for the kind words from everyone during the build. Onto the next project....... Comments and observations welcome
asfastasu Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 Nice, great build, such an obscure subject. Makes me want to do a 6 now.
High octane Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 It is different. Does the front clip fit over the engine or no? If it does, that Austin runs as a gasser. Remove the front clip and that same car can run in the altered class as well. Great idea on that build.
Foxer Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 That looks pretty cool, but does it get less wear on the right side tires?
DumpyDan Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 Man oh man did that ever turn out nice, would like to see this in person. I haven't touched mine in months.
Farmboy Posted June 29, 2017 Author Posted June 29, 2017 Nick, here's a shot of the front clip on the car. Sorry didn't include it the first time. Also, the darn camera focused on the front corner so the rest is slightly blurry. D'oh! €
bobthehobbyguy Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 Very cool. Love the idea. Definitely different.
espo Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 Great looking Gasser. Nice to see something that dares to be different.
misterNNL Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 Thanks for sharing this unique build with us.Most Gasser builds simply do not intrest me at all,the title of six fly caught my eye and I'm glad it did.If this was full size I would walk past all the others on display and spend my time looking this one over in detail.
Farmboy Posted June 29, 2017 Author Posted June 29, 2017 Thanx for the nice words everybody. Glad you all like it.
MeatMan Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 Awesome! I love the work you did on the front clip!
geetee66 Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 Terrific build! Top marks for originality. I've never seen one like this before. Great details on the engine!
