donb Posted August 16, 2017 Posted August 16, 2017 Been working on this, on and off, for about 6 months. Was not looking to the foil work. Finally decided about a month ago to tackle it. That fine trim portion along the fenders and door was challenging, But pleased with the result. Interior bucket to body required body trimming as well and the rear bumper the same. Onto the details. Interior: Duplicolor Champagne Pearl with Duplicolor White inserts. Exterior: Duplicolor Champagne Pearl and Duplicolor clear and buffed out. Engine: Ford reed and added plug wires and an MAD distributor. A few up top pics Roadster Pics All comments welcome.
bbowser Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 Excellent work on the paint and foil, also the interior details. This is possibly my favorite T-bird body style.
donb Posted August 18, 2017 Author Posted August 18, 2017 Thanks everyone for the great comments. I appreciate it very much.
Dann Tier Posted August 18, 2017 Posted August 18, 2017 LOVE the colors, stance, details, and you did an excellent job on that foil work!!!!
Dominik Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 very nice colors! like it, well done! But with the softtop it looks terrible

Crusader101 Posted August 22, 2017 Posted August 22, 2017 Beautiful job and the color looks great. Great job on the foil as well. Did you spray from the can or decant? I think the soft top in black would go quite well.
Johnt671 Posted August 22, 2017 Posted August 22, 2017 My daughter gave me that model for Christmas of 2013, and that started me building again. That model was also my first foil job. Yours in a really nice build.

High octane Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 Very nice build on that "bullet Bird" Donald, and I prefer the roadster version.
