Andrew D the Jolly Roger Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 (edited) Since I'm still getting to know this site and y'all, I might as well post a couple. I mostly do 1/72 military aircraft, but I have a growing fleet of a few treasured road vehicles, with a special appreciation of TV/movie cars. This is "The Monster," the Mustang converted to a war vehicle in the movie "Death Race." Started with the Revell '06 Mustang and went nuts. Movie photo first; the rest are mine. David G. Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 I remember someone doing an "On the Workbench" build topic on this some years ago (2009?) on this forum. I'm assuming that was you. I really enjoyed watching the progress of all the extensive modifications and additions that went into this. This is an excellent replica, thanks for sharing it again.David G.

KENNEDYJR Posted August 22, 2017 Posted August 22, 2017 Sweet! The weathering looks great. That took a boat load of styrene sheet huh?

vamach1 Posted December 21, 2021 Posted December 21, 2021 I missed this post. Fantastic job on the movie car. There was a UK company that did a limited number of resin kits but I cannot find any as I am sure they sold out a long time ago.
afx Posted December 21, 2021 Posted December 21, 2021 Impressive work Andrew. Thanks for digging this up Rex.
Andrew D the Jolly Roger Posted December 22, 2021 Author Posted December 22, 2021 Wow, thanks for the blast from the past; thanks for the kind words! Much appreciated ?
