Metalhead93 Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 (edited) First one I've finished in a while. It turned out better than I thought it would. Fujimi kit, Tamiya light blue paint. Overall a fun and easy kit, thanks for looking! Edited September 30, 2017 by Metalhead93 Pictures
iamsuperdan Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 I like it! Can't say that I've ever seen a Cube kit before!
Spex84 Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 The Cube is such a bizarro little car; I enjoy the design immensely. Can't say I've ever seen a built kit of this subject before today! Nice work, it's just cute as a button.
IceMan Collections Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 It like it in this color. The taillights look good too. Different than the american version. My wife drove one off the lot with 12 miles when it first came out. Of course I built a replica of it in pearl white when the kit was out. My daughter own it now and I do have to say its a pretty reliable little thing. A lot of room. Fun fact: its considered a van by insurance companies. HAHA!
aurfalien Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 Hi,Oooo very nice, I like it!I own the US Krōm version. Too bad they didn't kit that version as I would have bought it to build.
Tom Geiger Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 I think the kit is an earlier non-US model than was eventually imported here. A funny thing is that the wrap around rear window moves from left to right with the LHD car. That means they had to do two different body shells, rear hatches etc...
Dave Van Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 Very cool!!! We owned a 1/1 US version....which as noted is a very different car than the model is.We put about 80K on it and gave it to our daughter who still loves it. It is one of the most unusual cars made....Fantastic room inside.
Tom Geiger Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 It is one of the most unusual cars made....Fantastic room inside.Yup, a vehicle built completely around interior room. Almost a model kit interior tub on wheels!
Lovefordgalaxie Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 Never knew there were a kit of this car. The color suits it nicely. People say it looks like a toaster, and it kind of does, but so did the first generation Fiat Uno, and it sold like hot breads.
